Look at my sig... It was vBulletin, but then !@#$%^&* happened between me and Cybe and stuff. Then when Cybe sold Subspace.net, GodSpeedJAM told me he also gave him the vb license, and with Cybe nowhere to be found for a week by either me or Rowen, we had no choice but to change out. Especially with his constant demands to be admin. So we went to phpBB, and then IPB. We use to have around 60 Zone and Squad Forums including Chaos and T3G being our biggest next to 17th.

I have EVERYONE beat on member id #. #1 = default admin created during install, so as #2 noone can beat me blum.gif

http://web.archive.org/web/20030323001756/...ww.ssforum.net/ - 6 months, just before we changed from vB

http://web.archive.org/web/20030501181155/...ww.ssforum.net/ - Initial IPB Launch in May 2003.

http://web.archive.org/web/20030612123942/...ww.ssforum.net/ - June 2003 when the DB began erroring and we began losing zone forums because of the issues

http://web.archive.org/web/20031019023217/...ww.ssforum.net/ - Oct 2003 Current Forum DB, was originally phpBB, IPB db crashed so we changed over to phpBB august 13, 2003.

http://web.archive.org/web/20031127092425/...://ssforum.net/ - Nov 2003 we returned to IPB with a new and promising version, and after many forum users called for it. This skin was/is my favorite ever (caliSkin).

http://web.archive.org/web/20040130202456/...ww.ssforum.net/ - When Metal Gear and pretty much all zone forums moved off onto their own.

From there on we just began losing more and more zone forums as zones got their own domains and such. We hosted Chaos's at http://chaos.ssforum.net for a while, and then they moved on.

When SSForum.net came out, ForumHQ died. We forwarded all our traffic to 1 forum, and most of us who we're SSForum staff/Active members we're also some of the more active ForumHQ posters. Overtime we all just moved here totally and brought others with us, and the dying ForumHQ finally just died.

Was sad to see it go, cause the threads there we're historic and some of the best ever.

You registered for SSF's IPB version in dec 21 2003.

I registered some names that I used before this one.

I've basically been active on these forums (mainly 17th of course) since it was made :/

I was thinking I'd insert a Jav-aScript into this post that turned everyone's join date forward a few months (except mine) but it appears that not even admins can insert JavaScr-ipt into posts. Sad
