XDOOM Posted August 18, 2006 Report Posted August 18, 2006 Hey I thought of a new buyable item that we may be able to create ... especially for the ASSS development !buy square This creates a square of bricks around your ship for a period of a brick. Ofcourse it would be easy to get repped out of it .. but I think that might be fun in the center ... turn on the brick, make repels matrix mode ... something like that. or This creates a square of bricks around the nearest oppenent ship ... that would be funny ... do that turn on antiwarp so they can't warp ... haha. Another buyable item !buy bubble This creates a bubble around your ship ... while the bubble is activated you can not recieve ANY damage from anything .. however ... as you are attacked, the bubble will eventually burst. We would make is resilient enough that it could protect you from several bomb attacks (like give it 3x more energy than a typical ship). We could even add a graphic that tells you the % left of the bubble. I dunno how possible this is ... but just another idea .. Give SSCJ Devastation a try ... you'll like it.

XDOOM Posted August 21, 2006 Author Report Posted August 21, 2006 I also doubt if the bubble would be fun/fair I think it would be fun ... we dont let flaggers use it ... once you change a ship its gone ... we could even set it up such that if you ARE in the bubble, firing your own weapons decreases the energy of the bubble (but not nearly as much as getting hit by weapons) Give SSCJ Devastation a try ... you'll like it.

Plus if we give it a good description I doubt there would be an issue. I would like to see, instead of a visible bubble, a bar or percentage that shows how much of your bubble is left. It can be placed right beside the ship, under the player's name ... or it could be beside or below the energy bar of the ship. Give SSCJ Devastation a try ... you'll like it.

Same, I made deva's settings in 2000/2001 .... barely edited them since ... Give SSCJ Devastation a try ... you'll like it.
N_R Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 I'm not sure whether or not you can adjust the settings for shields. But what I do know is that a player with shields takes less damage when hit by enemy fire. However, it is damage none the less. ~NR
