The jackpot increases at its typical rate, however, if x amount of players are currently playing (and not speccing) then if the jackpot is won, players who win are awarded the jackpot times a multiple of y I believe its like 6 total players = 2x 8 total players = 4x 10 total players = 6x 12 total players = 8x 14+ total players = 10x The credits earned are based on the new jackpot amount. I'm not sure whether that is it EXACTLY, but you get the idea I hope. Hopefully the source code can help you out on that one, or maybe an SOS explanation ... heck, if you dig deep enough into the posts in the development forum, there is probably a few posts on the megajackpot and what the final stats were ... Give SSCJ Devastation a try ... you'll like it.

Hal Posted August 21, 2006 Author Report Posted August 21, 2006 I guess I won't be porting the antti-Spyed stuff, he'll find other ways to bother us anyway. Also, a development update.All the buyables are added exept the ones that annoy your enemies (or teammates) like noanti, warp etc.. Xdoom told me the ASSS server will be comming soon on SSCB. We'll be the first ASSS zone on this server, and I don't know if the intergration will be delayed by this. Xwill be on vactions (right?) in about a week so he won 't be able to host the bots, therefore we will try to get the ASSS server running ASAP. XDOOM Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 Hallowed I thought of a few modules you forgot Trivia Module - players can win credits if they guess correctly (maybe have this as a buy item, if you buy it, trivia is played for the zone with credit winnings large enough that you could essentially double your money back, thats if you get them right and not other people) Suggest Module - allow players to suggest things for the zone -- this would connect to a database that we could make visible on the website ... also provide area for people to submit things into this database from the website as well. Would be a supplement to the forums. Also --- Take a look at the posts that are NOT locked in the development forums .. these are all ideas that we are still discussing .. if I've given any of them approval add them to the development list .. then lock the topic. Give SSCJ Devastation a try ... you'll like it.
