You can find more by just googling "Windows Themes". Or, if you want to play around with it yourself, right click on your desktop, and go to "Properties" and select "Appearance", "Desktop", "Screen Saver", and/or "Themes". »D1st0rt Posted September 4, 2006 Report Posted September 4, 2006 The main thing that kept me from switching to Blackbox was the inability to have 2 rows of taskbar/system tray icons Quote

»D1st0rt Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 "Learn Quantum Mechanics" roffle Quote
BlueWyvern Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 I learned a bit on Thermodynamics today, I'm only 17 so I try my best to teach myself.(Better to the basics than to not know at all when University comes around the bend) Quote
Dav Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Thermodynamics is easy at college and unbiversity (at least the Thermodynamics i have come across) was about to ask where your from as you referd to uni not college but read in your stats. CAMBRIDGE UK 4TW Quote
»D1st0rt Posted September 7, 2006 Report Posted September 7, 2006 Thermodynamics is easy at college and unbiversity (at least the Thermodynamics i have come across)didn't come across much, eh? Quote
Bomook Posted September 7, 2006 Report Posted September 7, 2006 And as far as quantum mechanics go, if you're just taking general chemistry, it's easy, so don't worry about it. But if you want to become a chemical engineer, or major in chemistry, you might also want to buy a can of anal lubricant to prepare for the trauma of physical chemistry. Quote
»D1st0rt Posted September 7, 2006 Report Posted September 7, 2006 Oh come on, not all chemistry majors are gay ZING Quote
BlueWyvern Posted September 7, 2006 Report Posted September 7, 2006 Thermodynamics is easy, Quantum Mechanics isn't. The fact that I don't know calculus just makes it even harder to learn.I'll get it eventually, I'm learning calculus this semester along with geometry and discrete so I'm well on my way to becoming a Physicist (I hope). Muskrat Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 Check me if I'm wrong here, but in my school Cal 2 is a prereq for softmore level physics. Thermodynamics is a junior level class. I don't think you'll get far in ANY physics field with no calculus. Quote
»D1st0rt Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 It's a co-req here. In my statics class, the calculations are super easy but it takes like half an hour to figure out the right calculation to make, and that's only because the book says what the answer is next to the problem. We are so owned for our test on tuesday. Quote
Dr Brain Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 Work is really hard to understand without integrals, and thermo is mostly just work calculations. Quote
Dav Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 suddenly you make my biochemistry sound a little easier. My protien biochemistry and protien engineering will still be hard though, i need to improve my maths. Quote
Sound Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 !@#$%^&* i don't even know how to take a screenshot of my desktop. I THOUGHT i did. PrtScn right? PrintScreen? Then it goes to a folder? I can't find that folder. =( Quote
Dr Brain Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 It goes onto the clip board. Paste it into an image editing program. Quote
