Help
Shock Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 I don't think there's an actual solution to this problem.. Happens to many people. As far as I know, reformatting is the only thing that works. I think the client gets infected by a virus or something. I'm not too sure.
»SOS Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 There is a very thorough FAQ topic about this.
Synister Posted August 14, 2006 Author Report Posted August 14, 2006 ...Any other way other than uninstalling all that stuff..
Synister Posted August 14, 2006 Author Report Posted August 14, 2006 It's never done this.. why now.. seriously
Trained Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 Ive had this problem before. Your best bet would probally be to save yourself sometime, backup everything important, and reformat.
Synister Posted August 18, 2006 Author Report Posted August 18, 2006 Guys, nothing is working. I forgot to say this but, the problem started right after i updated continuum to 0.39pr1
XDOOM Posted August 18, 2006 Report Posted August 18, 2006 Guys, nothing is working. I forgot to say this but, the problem started right after i updated continuum to 0.39pr1 Did you try to uninstall continuum, delete all of the files in your continuum folder, then reinstall continuum 0.38 (and do not install 0.39pr1) in a different location? Also, when you say you updated continuum to 0.39pr1, you should still be able to run 0.38 since 0.39pr1 just comes with an .exe and .dll file ... do both not work or just the one of them?
Synister Posted August 26, 2006 Author Report Posted August 26, 2006 both.. well, I just added continuum to the firewall ignore list, I can open them now more then once, but only if I do Run as.. if I just double click it, it will load for like ever, then when i turn off comp it says Failed to load continuum.exe or w/e
Guest Guest Posted August 26, 2006 Report Posted August 26, 2006 Start -> run -> taskkill /IM "continuum*" -> OK
