Looking at the numbers, the 7900 GTX / GS is better.

Do note (I am not sure about this) that the word "shared" may mean the video card uses your systems RAM

GeForce Go 7600

  • Memory Interface
    128-bit

  • Memory Bandwidth (GB/sec)
    16

  • Fill Rate (Billion pixels/sec)
    3.6

  • Vertices/Second (Millions)
    550

  • RAMDACs (MHz) (not needed on tft)
    400

GeForce Go 7900 GTX

  • Memory Interface
    256-bit

  • Memory Bandwidth (GB/sec)
    38.4

  • Fill Rate (Billion pixels/sec)
    12.0

  • Vertices/Second(Millions)
    1000

  • RAMDACs (MHz) (not needed on tft)
    400

but ofcourse a graphic card and memory aren't the only factors. CPU, hardrive speed, memory speed, etc

Also make sure you keep your software in good shape, ex: latest drivers, clean up windows, few background processes, fixed virtual memory, etc
