Vorbis Posted October 5, 2006 Report Posted October 5, 2006 I like this a lot and I've just written up a post about it on the blog. Maybe your next project could be Continuum 0.40. .... just saying.
Vorbis Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 Bjorn, have a look at the comment P-Maverick posted about this: http://subspaceblog.blogspot.com/2006/10/p...t-subspace.html It's a pretty good idea.
Smong Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 Speaking from experience this is a long way off from a new cont .40.
Witchie NL Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 yep. But it is SOMETHING which prolly will be the closest to it so far.
Bjorn Posted October 19, 2006 Author Report Posted October 19, 2006 Made abit of a new version. most of the changes and additions are done astests to see if it would work but might be fun for people to take a look. biggest changes are:support for AI's to play on your own team.possible to play against and with all 8 ships (not much difference in the ships at the moment)added a subspace style radar and menuadded bombs (but still no bomb formula) Info and download available at:http://www.dsbleague.com/ps.html /Bjorn
Hakaku Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 It's really a lot better now that I can kill opponents lol. The new features are great. Here's what I've found after 10 minutes or so:-When I add teamates, they are counted as opponents.-The game auto-exits once 100 enemies exist-I get a program error after adding 100 teamates (lol, just felt like trying)-It's possible for enemies or teamates to spawn out of default map (not a huge problem though, but an ingame reset would be nice)-After you die and the game resets, bullets are still visible (they can't really kill you, so w/e)

Not really planning on keeping the top left stuff in the long run anyway, just for debugging mostly Thought i fixed the spawning but i guess i was wrong, ill take another look at that. thanks About your last note, not 100% sure what you mean. is it a drawing problem where bullets that was drawn before you died are still displayed on the screen or are the bullets moving and hitting you but not causing damage?
Hakaku Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Yeah, I thought the last bit might be unclear. It's nothing really wrong, just after all the enemies (and teamates) are removed, their bullets still exist until they hit a wall (or your ship). I haven't been hit by any yet, but I figure you'd get damage if hit? lol, for the 100 thing, I figured it was logical to have a limit somewhere, I was just testing my luck.
Witchie NL Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 nice looks great. keep on the good work
Wild~Fire Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 Can someone please upload this to a filehost or email it to me, the dsbleague.com site is down and I can't seem to find any other working links to download this! Hakaku Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 I might have it on my Win98 computer downstairs, but I'm headed to bed, so I'll check tomorrow.
