server gone down the toilet?

hi all i havent played continuum but my good friend taveras plays on thier and he said the server has gone to !@#$%^&* and that the new ppl cant do !@#$%^&* he said he got about 2 exp in about 5 min. and about 100 money in about 20 min. the vet freqs that own the flag games do not invite the noobs so the noobs just sit their and try to get kills but killing has gone to !@#$%^&*... so i was wondering what yall thought

If a new player gets 2 exp in 5 minutes, that's because he's made 1 kill in 5 minutes.

i actualy got 3 kills in 5 min but i got about 1 exp per kill and someone managed to get 0 exp for the 3rd kill

Then you managed to kill 2 people with less exp than you and one person with MUCH less exp than you.

 

Anyway, people are complaining, but are not realizing that the vets are ending up closer to the rest of the playerbase now because they can't get exp much faster. This is the best chance new players have had in a while, if not ever.

A new player would be getting 4 exp per kill...

That doesn't mean anything, I have 2 friend which used to play Subspace on my network regurarly. Not anymore on the new hs, but still.

Ya, the new money/exp system is !@#$%^&*, no idea what dr brain is thinking, instead of making it easier for new players he made it about 4 times harder, how i need to kill about 400 people to get a ion drive, no idea who thought that was a good idea,the new system favours people who play 24/7 even more

This is actually the most noob friendly system we have ever had from a design perspective, regardless of what you may believe. It just seems harder because of the way the social dynamics are coupling with the new items.

the server has a problem with me winning flag games. twice in the same night, when i'm about to win a large jp game, the server "coincidentally" goes down. I'm just saying.

Those were no coincidence, I instructed all mods to use the ?crashserver command any time you get close to winning a flag game
