well i finally came around with the tools toolbar, where specific options for the tools go into. I had to make the toolbars a bit more customizable first.

 

I added the asteroid brush as an option for the airbrush, else the toolbars wouldn't be used.

 

As sama keeps working on the tileset editor, i thought i just released another small version update with this new feature, and a couple of minor bug fixes.

  • Toolbars can be hidden/shown with right click on the toolbars or from the menu

With the addition of the toolbars, there is now room to add pixel dimensions for selections... Just a thought
