Gibbit Posted July 12, 2006 Report Posted July 12, 2006 since theres rarely mods in the day time on deva when it gets some day time pop .. anywho's often when people go into the zone in the day time its half way though a previous flag game and the flags are hidden and no one can find them, so I think you should put a !votereset command in the bot SOS so if every player in the zone says that command within like 15-20 seconds or so the bot will reset the flags that'd be just awsome, at least till you get a mod who's on during the day most days... later

XDOOM Posted July 12, 2006 Report Posted July 12, 2006 That vote reset could be abused during an actual flag game though .. there would be no way to tell whether the flags have been hidden for a long time, or whether there is an actual flag game going for a long time. Here are some options:1. If there are no players currently in the zone for over 15 minutes (including subarenas), the bot will move flags to random locations in the center area (not necessarily the center green). 2. !buy flagcoords ... this will let the bot tell you where the flags are (public announcement). Make it fairly cheap, but unavailable if there are 5+ players present, or something like that. I think option #2 makes the most sense. That way if you really are too lazy to find the flags that T-man hides you can use this and spend a little bit of your credits with it.
