What do you think of ice cream that uses a protein that makes it freeze easier (or something like that), thus requiring less fat?

 

The catch is the protein occurs naturally in a fish, which is unsustainable to use as the source of the ingredient, so genetically modified yeast is created to m!@#$%^&* produce the protein. At the end of the day the product claims to be low fat and free of GM ingredients.

 

So what should such a product be called if it doesn't directly contain GM ingredients, but GM lifeforms were used in the manufacturing process?

I read about this a long time ago, it is OLD news. Anyways, if you don't want to worry about it don't eat "Diet" foods. In most cases people eating that crap would lose their sanity if they knew what had been done to it to make it "Lighter"
