»SOS Posted July 2, 2006 Report Posted July 2, 2006 Trace looks fine. There are not enough cycles to tell accurately, but in general I see no actual packetloss. Is there an actual problem you are having? Getting kicked from zones due to lag/packetloss?
jjungz Posted July 3, 2006 Author Report Posted July 3, 2006 it just says the bot puts me into spec due to high packet loss, when i do ?lag it says it's only 6.5%
»Maverick Posted July 3, 2006 Report Posted July 3, 2006 Do you happen to play Continuum through a wireless network?
»SOS Posted July 3, 2006 Report Posted July 3, 2006 Yes, wireless can cause packetloss. Does this happen in every zone? Or just a few? Do a trace and let it run for at least 200-300 cycles and post the results. That way it has a bit more accuracy.
Samapico Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 Trace looks fine. 2 10.30.2.209 93.3 0 0 0 isnt that 93.3% ploss? :S
Witchie NL Posted July 7, 2006 Report Posted July 7, 2006 No, that is a measurement error Let it run more cycles (minimal 100) then it will probebly decrease to a normal level.
PoLiX Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 It looks like the 6.5-7.0% is coming from EG's side. Something i've noticed with my own ploss (.5-1.5% is all on last or next to last hop to EG). Although as they said, it can go down on more hops.
