Yoink Posted July 2, 2006 Report Posted July 2, 2006 When you paint with this tool, it would pepper an area randomly with asteroids, randomly choosing spacing between asteroids and the type/size of asteroid. Basically, you'd choose the tool, select the diameter that you'd like the asteroids to be in, perhaps allow for favor of one asteroid size over another, select the average space between asteroids, and start painting. This would rock (pun-intended).
Drake7707 Posted July 2, 2006 Report Posted July 2, 2006 airbrush can draw special objects now. ( not yet different types of asteroids tho)
Samapico Posted July 2, 2006 Report Posted July 2, 2006 hm.... so... we'd need to be able to select multiple tiles with the airbrush... so it would draw randomly between X number of tiles... that could be nice... i dont see how it could be implemented in the UI in a nice way though... oh it can draw special objects..nice...
Yoink Posted July 6, 2006 Author Report Posted July 6, 2006 Any hope for this tool? Also, what does 'Step' do?
Samapico Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 try drawing a line or rectangle (filled or not) with step > 0basically its the space between each tile that will be drawn and I don't think there will be a specific asteroid airbrush tool... but by selecting a larger line width, and having one asteroid as left button and another as right button, you can quickly mix them
Drake7707 Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 this would prolly be a good option for the tool. But we need to create a tool toolbar first, where all tool stuff goes into (per tool)
Drake7707 Posted July 24, 2006 Report Posted July 24, 2006 and now its implemented. i did the tool toolbar yesterday so it wasn't that much of a problem
