Yoink Posted June 30, 2006 Report Posted June 30, 2006 If this is in the wrong forum, feel free to move it. I have a ship image (used with permission / consent) that has 18 degree rotations - meaning for a full turn, it's 20 images as opposed to 40. Is it possible at all to use this for my ship graphic as opposed to an image with 9 degree rotations?
»SOS Posted June 30, 2006 Report Posted June 30, 2006 No. Unless you manually create the extra missing rotations (should not be too hard if you know your way around Photoshop)
Smong Posted June 30, 2006 Report Posted June 30, 2006 Yes you can use it as a ship graphic, there will just be less accuracy when aiming since 2 different rotation angles will be the same image. Also it won't be possible to use an image editor to create the missing frames if the angle isn't top down.
Smong Posted July 1, 2006 Report Posted July 1, 2006 Ok then... you could use an image editor to copy and paste frames to make up the missing ones. But you might not be able to generate new frames by using a rotation tool.
