Yoink Posted July 2, 2006 Report Posted July 2, 2006 When you draw something (I did it with a safety zone), select it, delete it, it's still there on the radar. -- fixed

kill Posted July 2, 2006 Report Posted July 2, 2006 hey umm when i click check for up dates it says: Run time error '339'Componet 'MISINET.OCX' or one of its dependices not currently registered: a file is missing or invalid then it closes its self :/ :/ plz help me out!!! Download MSINET.OCX (search on google) and put it in your system (win95/98/me) or system32 (winXP/2000/nt) folder

Samapico Posted July 2, 2006 Report Posted July 2, 2006 hey umm when i click check for up dates it says: Run time error '339'Componet 'MISINET.OCX' or one of its dependices not currently registered: a file is missing or invalid then it closes its self :/ :/ plz help me out!!! Download MSINET.OCX (search on google) and put it in your system (win95/98/me) or system32 (winXP/2000/nt) folder hmmm... we'd need error handling on that... (and what happens if someone isnt connected to the internet when checking for updates?) someone without msinet.ocx using 1.2.5+ will get a crash at startup and wont be able to do anything... since it now auto-checks for updates...
Drake7707 Posted July 2, 2006 Author Report Posted July 2, 2006 wellll.... solution: download the file -_-", i didn't make a setup because it updates too fast, if i make a setup it also installs the necessary dependencies
Samapico Posted July 2, 2006 Report Posted July 2, 2006 I didnt say to make a setup... just error handling so it doesnt crash, and just... not update, and give a MsgBox instead... updated latest build thread by the way... didnt include 1.2.4 and 1.2.5 sources, as they're already a thing of the past
Samapico Posted July 2, 2006 Report Posted July 2, 2006 something that would be nice: having a section of the interface dedicated to the tool options, or some kind of expandable small window... it could include already existing tool options such as line width and step... but more specific options for certain tools could appear (aibrush's speed, density and size (would be somewhat independant from linewidth) , selection shape perhaps, bucket's fill screen only, pencil shape, stuff like that) yeah... that would own.. where the step and linewidth already are, there could be an arrow button to expand to "more tool options" , or something like that we should then make tool options appear only if they are suitable for the current tool. For example, the bucket doesn't need any line width or stepfor selection, we could have a "Select only current tile" checkbox... in case you want to select all tiles of the same type within a certain area there's tons of useful simple features that we could add that way
Drake7707 Posted July 2, 2006 Author Report Posted July 2, 2006 i think you used 'from' in some way the board doesn't like. Tool options can just be a new tab in the option window.
»SOS Posted July 3, 2006 Report Posted July 3, 2006 Tabs are a bad thing, do not do this. But a toolbar up top, for example. Like Photoshop. Btw, the board does not like some posts, indeed. "from" seems to be one the triggers (I think htaccess was another bad word) - some broken SQL? OR some stupid SQL injection defense? Meh.
Drake7707 Posted July 3, 2006 Author Report Posted July 3, 2006 ooh you mean like the toolbars for options for each tool like the toolbar that contains pencil width , and antialiasing and such from psp ?
grazzhoppa Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 the grid doesn't draw right when you minimize that tileset/radar window: 1st picture is when I'm dragging the window with the hand tool.http://images5.theimagehosting.com/drakebug2.th.PNG http://images5.theimagehosting.com/drakebug3.th.PNG The grid will always looks like the 2nd picture where ever you are viewing on the map. Bringing back up the tileset/radar window will make the grid appear fine again.

Drake7707 Posted July 8, 2006 Author Report Posted July 8, 2006 Can someone test this in the latest version (1.2.6)?The irregularities i previously had in updatelevel are now gone here. I hope it will be for the above example too.

Also a thing with the autoupdater:Anytime DCME tries to connect to the internet and I block it with my software firewall, DCME will give me an error "Run-time error '9': Subscript out of range", and nothing will respond except the menus, but click on an item in the menu doesn't do anything. Have to press the X in the upper right corner to get rid of the window, but then the DCME.exe process is still running so have to end that manually. When I start DCME for the very first time, it'll try to connect to update, and I have to go into the preferences and turn off the autoupdater and then block it with my firewall, and then let it crash/error, then restart it.
»D1st0rt Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 The simple solution would be to not block it from accessing the internet.
Drake7707 Posted July 8, 2006 Author Report Posted July 8, 2006 error at check for updates is fixed in v1.2.61
