Hi-5 Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 ok, so whenever i alt+tab and try to access the menus (view, options, etc..) the menu turns blank, and continuum crashes...any ideas?
Dav Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 strange problem. are you gfx drivers up to date?
HunterKiller_ Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 I have exactly the same problem! I didn't expect anybody else would, but luckly there are.It is a very strange problem indeed. I have just done a clean install of Windows XP after formatting everything, because of this occurance and other viral errors, etc.I installed Continuum along with all my other programs, open it up, and to my horror, the same thing happened!Trying to bring up a menu or right click within the initial game screen causes the window to freeze, and right click menus to become transparent afterwards. I haven't always had this problem, i have no idea what might be causing it but i do know that it happened around the time when i uninstalled Norton Antivirus some time ago, but this obviously does not have any relation to the issue because i did not install Norton this time round. Please help us! I can't even configure the game since it's a clean install. I'm running Windows XP SP1.Graphics card: Nvidia Quadro FX540.These things shouldn't have any relations to the problem since this is what they were before this problem started occouring.
Bargeld Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 Windows themes may be the problem... possibly any windows cuustomization programs like windowblinds, etc.
HunterKiller_ Posted July 9, 2006 Report Posted July 9, 2006 I did use Windowblinds before, that could have been it, but once again, this is a clean install, and i have not installed any customization programs this time 'round (yes, because they cause too much trouble).I do, however, have Rainlender running, although it's not a customization program. I'm going to try close it now and see what happens. No, it's not it. Unless it's causing the problem just by being installed. In the meantime, is there a file for the game settings i can directly access and edit?
»SOS Posted July 9, 2006 Report Posted July 9, 2006 Continuum's settings are stored in the Windows Registry under the HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Continuum key.
