Eastern Time Zone Population Needed

Heya, this is mainly for SOS ... but input would be nice.

 

As most people do know I am no longer around the zone, however, I have been keeping an eye on the population, and i've noticed the large amounts of players we get after 12am Midnight EDT

 

Now, its great to see a population at that time, but now is the time to get the zone's population going during the 6-10pm EDT because then you'll create a bridge between this time and the current time players are in, and i'll guarentee at least a 50% increase in population.

 

What is needed is a major staff member for this time zone, who can run events (since SOS and tm_master will both not be around at this time to run events).

That way, you can do a duel-event night where there is one event at 7pm, and the next event at 11pm, that way you'll attract players to both, typically keeping your 12am crowd, but creating an additional 7pm crowd.

You can even have a special reward for players who play during both events for a certain time (extra credits maybe?)

 

Along with a major staff member, I would suggest several mods. A good way to start a pop is to have some staff playing in there and greeting players and such and getting flag games going, as this is what tm_master does.

 

The sooner the better .. the population is on an up-swing, you want to catch it while you still can.

I'm from Eastern Standard Time zone and because no one is on during regular hours, I don't go into deva. It's not because there's no staff, it's because there's no one even on the chat during those hours. Since you people go on later, try getting more players in on the weekends, because even EDT or EST players stay up late on those days.
