Guest Kagex Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 I loaded .38, ran the program. However as soon as I try and enter a ZONE (after picking my ship etc..) doesnt matter which one, It tries, It shows the ship flying and the % increasing as it is loading. As soon as it reached 48% it crashes kicks me back to my main windows screen and the following error message appears: "Unable to create zones SSCX Extreme Games\Flagging.lvl" WHat the heck is going on. Does it every time. I have tried re downloading it 5 times, also tried the .39 version. Even tried creating a new windows XP user as a guest. the program always crashes at this point. PLEASE HELP, I miss this game. As soon as I upgraded to a new computer with XP This crap happens!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh
★ SOS Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 The problem is that your user account does not have the rights to write to the Continuum directory. The easiest way to solve this is to run the game from an account with administrator access.
Guest Guest Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 I have tried it from 2 different accounts with admin Privileges . Still does the same thing. Confused??
★ SOS Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 What directory is it installed in? Program Files? If it's somewhere weird, the path might be too long. Other option is that the directory rights are messed up. Try installing somewhere else.
Guest Guest Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 It is installed in program files, I can try saving it else where.....hang on
Guest THANKS Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 I chaned the directory into just the C: drive and not program files. This solved the problem. Thanks SOS
