Hiya there,

 

i have a slight problem with continuum

 

 

when i try toload a level it starts fine, shows screen full size and starts downloading the map.

 

but when it gets to around 97-99% it closes completly and bringsup error message. saying that the map file could not be created.

 

is there anything i can do tho stop this.

This is usually a permissions problem. It could be a problem with the amount access your windows user account has (if you are not an administrator).

 

If that is not the case, you can try to right click the Continuum folder, and check the properties. Click on "Read Only" until you see that there is NO check in that box. If still not functioning, then you can try to re-install Continuum into a different directory... when installing name the directory "Continuum2" or something.

i found that bug with other people to... and i know how to fix it... are you double clienting/multi clienting? If you are and you use continuum 0.39 you cant download maps while you are double clienting. It trys to write the map but as soon as it wants to put the file in the map (at 99/100%) it doesnt get permission coz of the first client you started blocks it. But with 0.38 you can (im still using it coz of that bug).
