password; I've tried everything including gibberish

I have tried for the past 2 days to enter however it continues to say that I have an invalid password or account. I have tried everything from gibberish to writing my name in roman letters for a foreign language. Then after about 5 times it wont let me try anymore for the remainder of the day. I am not a newbie. I used to play alot a few years ago and had my own squad. However no matter what I try it wont let me in. Could it be because of my antivirus software is interfering, downloaded wrong version(.38), or that I have a firewall up with high speed internet?

I know that, but it seems that no matter what I try the system wont let me on. I use to play along time ago, but I never had this much difficulty getting on to the system. So since I switched to a new system ie..high speed internet and firewall, that maybe my computer is not working well with the server.

Try a different name. Your name is probably taken, especially if your trying to login as Celtic, that for sure is gone.

etc...however the system wont let me in. It keeps saying invalid password. I tried to get on powerball but it says that I have to download something else. I am just about ready to give up though. I keep getting kicked off and that is more frustrating.

Are you sure you're changing the player name and not the profile name?

To check and see if it is actually your firewall open up your firewall settings and add continuum to permit all on configuration.

You wouldn't get a response from server saying 'wrong password' if it couldn't connect to the zone. It would just time out.

 

Go with SOS's suggestion... that was my first thought.
