Yoink Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 I don't know if it's even possible to have -x.-x% packetloss, but I often get disconnected and specced because of high packetloss. I'm pretty sure it's my wireless adapter, any idea how to fix this?
★ SOS Posted March 14, 2006 Report Posted March 14, 2006 If it's the wireless... well, move to an area where you have better reception or buy a more powerful wireless router.
Yoink Posted March 15, 2006 Author Report Posted March 15, 2006 I made a thirty foot ethernet cord, rubberbanded it to my cable cord, ran that up from the router in the basement (we have basically a file storage/ftp machine) to my machine.
SoM Posted March 15, 2006 Report Posted March 15, 2006 I remember having -99.9% packetloss for a whole month 1-2 years ago. I got d/c some seconds after i got on, then one day it was gone. /SoM http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v733/Floydraalte/SOM.jpg
