Getting an old name that isnt being used

i was wondering how to get an old name that hasnt been used in a long time, i know to ask a billing operator, but i would like to know how long a name has to be inactive before an operator will accept wipiing, or transefering it.

Usually the name has to be inactive for years. The first thing you want to do is read this http://www.ssbase.com/billing.shtml and fill out the form (link at the bottm), however, I wouldn't expect a responce. Then again, MackieMan isn't very well liked here anyway, since he doesn't do jack. BUT, this would be where you'd start.

 

Submit the form, wait about 3 weeks for your reply which isn't going to come, then post again. Just an FYI, getting inactive names in this game is pretty hard. You're better off finding a new name which isn't taken, or use a modified version of the name you want. However, if the name you want has been inactive for years, and you raise a big enough stink about it, you'll get it.
