Voran Posted March 7, 2006 Report Posted March 7, 2006 I'm having some trouble turning my ship in the direction I want. Often, when I try to align my ship horizontally or vertically, I overturn. Then, when I try to correct, Ioverturn again, although I press the turning keys on my keyboard for the brieft amount of time. Picture:Instead of going \|/ when I turn right, I go \ /, skipping the middle vertical position. It seems to me that holding the turning key for about 0.1 seconds has a seeminglyrandom effect, sometimes turning the ship by one frame and sometimes turning it bytwo frames. Is there anyone else having this problem, and is there a solution? Thanks for your time.
MonteZuma Posted March 7, 2006 Report Posted March 7, 2006 Now that you mention it, I have that problem with my laptop k/b. I don't have a solution though. http://img397.imageshack.us/img397/1458/4sq748349hz.gif
Guest Guest Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 I tried with a different keyboard (from another company) -- no change.I also tried to run it under Linux (wine) -- no change, except the frame rate ismuch lower. I'm going to try with another computer. Current computer is 1.4Ghz Athlonwith GeForce2, 512 MB of RAM.
Voran Posted March 10, 2006 Author Report Posted March 10, 2006 I've tried on an old computer with Win98 and an ATI card.Same problem. Giving up on SubSpace...

Voran Posted March 10, 2006 Author Report Posted March 10, 2006 lol giving up on subspace because your ship misses one position. Shrug. Because of this problem I can't aim at enemies properly and thusI can't become good.
