Guest Lanimilbus Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 I have a Logitech Dual Action USB controller. If I set up everything works fine, except I can't move Forward/Backword and turn at the same time, I think this is because there is a different signal or something for the gamepad when you use a diagnol on the D-Pad. Is there a way to stop that so I can actually turn and move? That's all I need to fix and I can use this right.
Bargeld Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 Try remapping the D-pad to the actual key presses. The basic reason why you get no response is that you aren't technically pressing up/down/left/right... the gamepad is saying 'diagonal' but continuum doesn't have a diagonal. If you remap the D-pad on the controller to actually DO the keypress emulation, it should work. Note: you may have to turn the gamepad off in continuum, but run the gamepad software in the background with all of the keys remapped to the continuum key definitions. Sysop - SSCX Alpha West SVS
