Guest 9mmHemhorrage Posted January 26, 2006 Report Posted January 26, 2006 Hi, I am running Windows XP 64 and Continuum won't run. Double click the icon and nothing happens... no error box or anything. I searched the forums and didn't find anything regarding this. Any ideas?
Cancer+ Posted January 26, 2006 Report Posted January 26, 2006 do you try to run continuum right when you start your computer or do you wait a little bit?
»SOS Posted January 26, 2006 Report Posted January 26, 2006 The FAQ has a real nice post about Continuum not loading: http://www.ssforum.net/index.php?showtopic...view=getnewpost It does not specifically discuss W64, though. I have not heard of anyone running Continuum on it, so you might be in relatively uncharted territory... I wonder if the 64-ness could cause Continuum to go nuts...
Cancer+ Posted January 26, 2006 Report Posted January 26, 2006 the thing i have is if i run continuum RIGHT when i start it, it is fine. but if i exit out of it completely, i cannot run it again unless i restart the computer. also, if i wait a little bit and run other programs before continuum, it also wont run. stupid bugs.
Bargeld Posted January 27, 2006 Report Posted January 27, 2006 If you are trying to run it as soon as windows boots and are successful, then you probably launched the game before any automated security software has started fully. Once you wait a bit longer, then the security apps have started and block continuum. Check your security apps if you want to find the culprit.

I'm not running anything like that at all. I suspect I'm in uncharted territory I'm willing to help debug stuff if anyone wants to send me debug images and the like.
