»SOS Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 (edited) Well, that's not good. Perhaps encouraging people to start up a new game by prizing everyone 10k bounty or so for the first 30 minutes after a jackpot? To make it rise faster. Or some way to encourage dogfights? Or some way to just relax after a heavy flag game? Wild idea: after flag game, three boxes will randomly appear on the map one after another with 15 seconds in between. Whoever gets to one first gets 5 million credits. They time out in 3 minutes (each one). Edited January 5, 2006 by SOS

Dunno if you'll have time to implement them before the game today, but I had to reply. Maybe consider those for games in the future, then? Either way, great ideas! --TM_Master OUT...
»SOS Posted January 6, 2006 Author Report Posted January 6, 2006 (edited) Omigod, the game is today Wooh-ohohohooo! The first idea is super easy to implement. Second might take a few hours... X, you out there? What do you think? The second definitely needs some testing and tinkering before release but what about sticking the fast rising jp in there today? (Btw, I can't actually make it add bounty due to the big bounty problem but no matter - I can make it rise faster in any case ) Edited January 6, 2006 by SOS
XDOOM Posted January 6, 2006 Report Posted January 6, 2006 10k bounty > no ... you'll get negative rewards then 1k bounty > better random boxes? sure why not.
kick me!! Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 Pretty good idea...But you really think it would encourage people to stay? Most people. I find, after a flagging game LEAVE right away if they lost...
