There are many things that perhaps should be legislated, there is also a line that should not be crossed. The big problem at the moment is that the people making the laws don't understand how the very thing they are legislating works so their laws can affect peoples Internet use quite badly and tip things too far towards the music industry or something else. they do try to deal with it. Problem is people evade the law with loopholes and such. Some companies even go as far as planning the fines they will receive into their business model. Problem with these things is they work. Take spam for example. If everyone ignored it it wouldn't be profitable and they wouldn't do it. In reality people do click the links and people buy leading to massive profits for the spammer.

real question is how easy would their zones port to continuum? If it can be done then we should try and merge them into continuum rather then spread population over the two. Of course with the way power works in these games it is unlikely to happen.

I think falkco was making this point about spy. Some people have put all their units into spy and now their army size is too small for them to be attacked by the higher rank players that are continuously sabbing so there is absolutely nothing anyone can do about it.

I was thinking with wepons / repair. Perhaps weapon cost should be higher for attack and def then repair cost should be something like (Initial cost x 0.90)/damage points = repair cost per point for the most expencive and perhaps (Initial cost x 0.50)/damage points = repair cost per point for the cheapest weapons with all others being somewhere in between. Keep degradation at the same rate so repair becomes neccacary. For UP make it double per updrade but this ime you get 10 when you pick race. 20 costs 1 mil and it goes from there. This would ;let people start to develop fast but get harder near the end. hopefully making mercs less of a factor. Also if units are more expensive to equip then trained mercs will be less of a factor. Finally if you make a clan have a max of 5 or 6 members there will be enough clan wars to reduce the massive in balance of the penis clan this round. I like the idea of untrained mercs being unlimited, but should be at a cost and perhaps limit the number of mercs to 1/10th of the remainder of your army.
