The thing i found interestingn is that neither of them challenge his allogations of the US not being alert, its also interesting how he talks about security being in the hands of the people yet bush and kerry just say we will hunt and destroy the terrorists. Could this be because they would feel weak to admit that he is right? Surly kerry saying the us was underprepared under bush could work to his advantage, if pweople think bush isnt able to protect them but kerry can by spewing some of his properganda at them it would gain him a fair number of votes.

I think a system where multiple parties exist in a single govgenmet house works well, it doesnt give the elcted party full control but does five them a majority acvcording to their support. This also give a better prospective when it comes to elections, anyone that followes politics knows how the respective parties act and which views they have throughout the term a govenment has in office, it also means that the opposition parties can place pressure on the prime minister to get things to happen. The biggest flaw in the UK system is that Labour could win next years election on a minority vote of 35% whereas a 45% majority is needed by the conservities to take office.

They may bre talking to somone that calls the shots but the problem is that neither side will be willing to comprimise in this situation. The only way i see a resolution to this is if Hamas seice fire, the view of palistinians becomes more favorable and sharon is voted against as a result in favor of a leader willing to comprimse. Chances of this happening are slim but it will be essiential that the new leader should there be one can gain unites support from the palistinians.

Arafat wasnt calling the show, he tried to in the past but a lack of resolution caused HAMAS to act indipendantly of the PLO and they pretty much dont listen. If arafat dies a new leader will be needed, this leader will have to be remarkable if the peace effort is to move foward. Somone that can unite the palistininas into a non-violant approach to peace is going to be unlikly, especially with sharon in israili power.

The way i see it we live in a political no-win situation. Democrocy leads to corrupt leaders and lies, people dont know exactly what they will get if they vote for one leader over another. Communism doesnt work due to selfish human nature.
