Isn't NOS an acronym for Nitrous Oxide System just that the company that produces a lot of nitro accessories just calls themselves NOS Not many people that I've heard called a photo copied paper a xerox the term is: Xerox it instead of Photocopy If I say I want a Kleenex, Coke and a Q-tip thats because they have cornered the market and/or have the best product of that type Yes this is lazy in a way and improper but it's easier and it's just how things happen sometimes It isn't the same if I ask for a tissue paper, dark carbonated soft drink and a cotton swab I don't want no-name garbage lol Also it's improper to refer to misspellings as British spellings since the language mostly came from England and other European countries, there is a reason its called the English language and not the American language. The misspellings are in the American spellings as during some time someone got lazy and decided to spell more of how they heard the sound and not what the word was and eliminated needed silent letters because they got tired of writing extra lol

I think i will Fast reply actually Yeah HS needs to have people come back to play and have new users come and play So if anyone knows former HS people or sees them in other arenas remind them that it's back up and running (kinda) Doubling the newbie start money would allow them to get a better start now so they don't feel discouraged and leave

Well with the new map that Doc has just put up d/l time will be faster and hopefully it won't freeze

I know already know that there is a whole lot to work on for the new map and settings but for the time being can someone update the F1 menu so that people who come in during the time before the new map and everything can at least have a help menu that isn't out of date All that really needs to be fixed is the !commands be updated to show the corrected ?commands Putting up a line that tells people this may not work may not be read at all and is just a temp solution Also anything that refers to areabot can be removed And the Sector Transport section can be removed and replaced with the Catapult way only People who are new get confused and annoyed and then leave and no one wants that

Yeah if we increase the hold time,increase the money earned and make the ball spawn in a random place then having a 3-5 second delay in catapults will be nothing really

For now the money recieved from basing is only about 1000-4000 because of a lack of population which can be blamed on the infamous "lag coma" bug and the fact that we just got back and some people might not know yet 120 is fine for now 180 would make things difficult and interesting when the new map is up if the new bases are bigger or easier to defend forcing a team to work a little harder to keep the base 240 is too much for now and since I haven't checked out the new map yet I can't really say if 240 would make things too tough or not but when we get 20-30 people in at a time again 240 and bigger tougher bases would be good 300 is too long no matter what

Awesome now all we need is some racers and then we'll be set I'll keep track of the point standings in spec and Wargh you can host the event

Have you decided on which component names and stat styles you'll use and when you do could you post the list out here so we can get a look at them and constructivly critique them Also if and when you need weapon setups similar to this just tell us and I'll think of some good ones Bomook,D1 and Siaon can come up with futuristic weapon names and I'll probably stick with creating a mythologically based name with cool settings for weapons lol Hey there is always a need for a balance of opinion Oh and the joke name I came up with for my last suggestion is Finnish for Fast Ship i think My family has Finnish background so I thought I'd add that for fun Any of the setting setups I've created can be used and if you don't like the name i don't care if it's changed lol

I'd like to start a racing GP or something like this to help motivate people to keep playing HS All thats needed really is an arbiter to help me out with hosting and i'll keep track of stats I'll put up $100,000 to the winner and $50,000 to second place if we can get over 5 racers in each race I'll put up $25,000 for 3rd Hs is kinda under populated right now and this is one Idea of a side hosted event that I have If anyone is interested just post and we can set this up Also hopefully mook,D1 or any other arbiter can give me a hand in hosting this event, ie warping,setting to same freq etc.. To make it fair it would be a sharks only, 2 lap race around in the hypertunnels with no shortcuts Any one cheating gets HEAVILY fined 1st and only warning It'd would be 5 or so races with a points setup depending on how many people want to participate most points wins after the races So I hope to see some people signup to race

Well since HS is up and running people can do their complaining faster if you just -*BAD WORD*- to the person directly It's not that this is dead it's just that HS is alive and the people are using the time that was for forums only to play since HS is down atm I decided to check up on this lol

there you go 3 people have told you to do the same thing so there is more than enough ways to escape even with a timer But if the catapults aren't point to point anymore it'll take about 10 seconds to get to the catapult anyways

Just cause you aren't super kick -*BAD WORD*- like us Coenny doesn't mean anything lol 10 seconds is more than enough time to rocket around the base like a coward and re-enter the catapult

I don't know java so I'm not gonna write java code But something like this should get rid of X/0 problems Have the code check killerbty for a 0 bounty then force a killerbty=killerbty+1 into the money calculation if possible
