  8. I agree. This forum is too strictly run. Not that it's a bad thing, but because it's not a "successful" forum, it shouldn't have too many constraints. I define "successful" as having topics that contain substance.. But because this isn't an interest group, there aren't gonna be any substance. Yea subspace sort of is an interest group, but seriously, interest groups have information constantly flowing, and constantly updated.. For example - Michael Jackson - if this were a michael jackson interest group, then we would have lots of topics pertaining theories and speculation about michael jackson, talking about his songs, molestation, Jackson 5, Janet's boob slip, etc... subspace has NO NEWS at all, basically our source of news is dependent on Swift. Subspace.net USED to be the central system for production of news with tons of zone news people etc... but all that's gone. SSCentral has no news reporter at all... and basically it's too impersonal - no one can relate to it. I think the reason why Swift didn't want news reporters is because of some unfair advantage of people boosting their own zone's popularity over other zones... which in my case is bull!@#$%^&*. The fact is, the more you get zone reporters involved in reporting news, the more people will get involved in what's happening to the subspace community.. the more engaged they'll be.. but SSForum itself is too broad -- it isn't specific - like what zone? If someone from TW posts about a stupid weasel's cloak being cheap etc, what are the likelyhood of other people knowing what the !@#$%^&* he's talking about? So thus, topics on SSForum are forced to be GENERAL.. - Lupper (oh yea and go ahead and ban this name too PoLiX, if you want)
