How is this project coming?

So many memories. I have introduced many people to this game but one of the people i am most proud of getting hooked is prob. DoCk Also known as docklynez I had sysop access in TW at the time and made him staff. And then he shot off like a cannon after that. Does anyone know how to make a java applet grab ipconfig data and maybe perform a telnet to a specific address? The goal is to direct people to a URL have the applet perform these tasks for the user and then dump the data to the server. Ive played around with it a bit and cant get there. Might be some money for anyone who can help

Web browsing looks great. Note taking looks like it will be a great tool which is why I bought it for. I go into alot of meetings daily and think it's nicer to keep a digital set of notes rather thing bringing my pen and paper In addition for me I didn't have a mp3 player or anything potable for videos and it's my belief for music videos and even picture potability apple products win hands down

Well all I can say is I like it a lot a very nice web experience

I guess this was as simple as just making a scripting and adding mv as the command no error checking needed if the file doesnt exist it skips and goes to the next in the list.

If i had a list of files that if they existed on my hard drive that they would be renamed to another predefined name how would you begin that script? Keep in mind the first 10 files may be present but the 11th may not but the 12th may be... So it has to scan through a list and if the file is present rename the file with a predetermined file name How would that be done?
