Hey Forum. I used to play continuum pretty religiously a few years back, and I've been sorting through old games I used to play (FS2, Diablo, CS etc...) and figured I'd give Continuum a try again. So the client isn't starting up right, so I do the right thing and sift through the Forums and FAQs for a solution and lo and behold there is one. Uninstall all of my security: firewall, spyware, etc. How is that an acceptable solution for a game? Why is that even an issue? I personally don't find any game worth it if it requires me to change or forfeit the security I have. Maybe I'm overreacting and there are only specific programs that are an issue, but I feel like that should be something that that is an issue with the client and not the users installed software. Is it a hacking problem? Since this is technically a technical support question (not in the TS forum, I figured it's more discussion at heart), here are the programs I run on that list just in case someone can catch one that is a known issue. But I get the feeling this is a bigger issue for a game and community I used to love so much. Avast! Spybot S&D Malwarebytes (free) CCleaner Maybe I'm doing something else wrong. If so, I haven't found a solution for it. I'd really like to get back into this, its just not worth changing all my favorite security programs. Thanks!
