So what's the difference in starting today or next week if we know how many teams there will be? Except, if you prolong it, we might not be able to finish the regular season before the Xmas and New Year break.

As NFS said, your own guys said you are likely to not return. I'm pretty sure the whole community wants as many squads as possible.

As I see it, this just gives CM 10 more days to decide whether they will play or not.

Your core was 4 players who have played in multiple championship games. One of them was Three, who is a top 3 player in the game. Then you surrounded that core with 7th, one of the best support players, treachen and hedcase8.

I just think most ppl would agree to having 10 competitive matches in a season, rather than 3.

Don't get me wrong dev, I'm not talking about players that have been on those squads for the last 5 years. I'm talking about the unnecessary stacking. The top squads are 10-12 deep, while maybe 5-6 players get the playing time they should be getting. Imagine if 2 of those players from each of top squads who don't play as much as they should, joined backarrow, cosmic rift, llamas, ego and sfe. There would be 5 squads with great lineups + 5 that could actually put up a fight on any given weekend. So, my question is: wouldn't it be way better to have 4 really interesting matches every week than 1 or max 2 that we have atm?

Good question mindriot. That's why we'll never know who really are the best players in this game. It's easy to play with other top players. I don't remember the last time a top 10 or 15 player joined a weaker squad and tried to carry it for a season (and show that he really is a top player).

First post was about the winners in 4 categories (MVP, Best PLAYMAKER, Captain and Most improved), yet you say "If someone is the play maker of their team and doing 2500ddpm with 55% bomb accuracy but goes 33-17 in a season, are they more valuable to their team than someone that does 1200ddpm with 26% bomb accuracy but goes 36-9?" So, if someone is the best playmaker, they will get the award for the best playmaker. Also, it is possible that the same person gets both awards. Nebug was a possibility, but came up short in both categories. The stats were there because HG said Devious may have deserved the award. I responded to that with "Legacy was 34-11 and his team went 8-0 with him in the game. Also had 10 assists and 40 FR." and later with "Legacy went 7-2 vs CM, 4-1 vs Ass and 6-1 vs EGO". Still, any member of the council could have voted any way they wished (except for themselves or squaddies).
