I know I do not contribute much but I was sadden today by providing information in a team chat in a practice that I was captain of. Soooooooooooo, since I can't change that, I ask for implementation. I was hoping a player profile can be added to the bot. It's like an info tab on an account. Since there are only a few players playing with only so many alises, there should be an !info player. Since in the past, I have been brief and not to the point, I will be to the point and not brief. Player admits to typing .items in public or to bot to obtain information and will only ask coords: yes or no you can break that up. I'm sorry, I am lazy haha. So the way this works, is the bot remebers preferences and when you type in team chat, the messages are "filtered" in the right way based on the type of information the player wishes to receive. more examples: 1 update in team chat in the form of regular typing. 1 update in team chat in the form of %coord (1 liners). Rest are filtered. The player preference !info player basically describes the players preferences in how he wishes to play the game because to play the game all you need to do is kill the other dude or whatever. I left it open, cheers tonight peeps. edit: ooops ... everyone wants to know the benefit. the benefit is the player has control over the situation. nuff said.

Helllllllllllllo! As I understand your want to do this; I suggest you hold an open MAP competition first. It's always good to be on your toes when making money;,,, not just playing with friends. I suggest RANDOM MAPS be posted and people pick the onesto play on. I will personally make one. That way people donj't just circle around same areas or play the same way. This is about.... ready... SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST!

Yeah i did give the ships less items to promote more teammwork playing which would be a lot more fun if EVERYONE was doing it. this isn't the only arena. our mission is to make the very best 4v4.

i was thinking of suggesting a diminishing item count with the help of the bot for each new life. +3 reps, +2 reps, +1 rep (LL). 1 brick, 0, 0 ; etc. This would give a strong start in the beginning of games as that is when you will have the most items. Thus dying for items is not as much worth it. the problem is that dying for items to "abuse" someone is FUN. Without it we will be bored. I think all ships should have the same access to the same amount of items. For ship settings.. weasel and shark are overpowered pretty much. for the shark, it would be nice to see a LVL 2 bombs, no bullet delay after bomb, regular bullet dps. So a non emping weasel. for the jav, increase x radar cost, lower stealth cost for the bird, slight increase in thrust (still feels a tad off what a warbird should be) increasing this lets you play with the costs of x/stealth/aw of other ships. for the levi, lower the cost of laying a mine, remove brick for the lanc, reduce stealth and x radar costs for the spider, reduce x radar cost, reduce cloak cost for the weasel i'd rather see (LV1) red bombs with limited prox, doing the same damage as lvl 2 yellow bombs or more but i don't think you can do that. (if you can go like lvl2.4 in dmg that would even out difficulty so 2.3 to keep it fair) - the idea is "if i hit you, you're going to be hurt" However you can accomplish that. Raise bomb cost is needed already. sholdn't bomb cost = 1/2 of max possible damage including the duration of the EMP? So emp does roughly what 1200 on direct hit. emp costing 600 is wild so drop it 100 and say good luck. 500ish -------------------

I want to play more of this because it's not the same boring map and it requires some attention to not accidently get trapped in a corner or make a bad bounce. I hope some of the maps change because I like things that are NEW and CHANGED instead of OLD and SAME.

missing about 20 2-pixel slide holes. Also could be too cluttered. 3v3 in a duel box is overcrowded. So any spaces smaller than a duel box is forcing someone to run outside the fighting area in dodging attempts.

yah; i am sure there is something(might take some effort) that can be done from the server side to reduce this abuse to slim; Otherwise, other than server... whats the point of having administrators?

have we not already had this discussion? If you hate safezones so much and want to compromise, put the safezones on the corner of the map and make the area around them highly dangerous if you leave. However, if i get kicked out of the game because I had to go walk my dog and thought the 30 mins in the safezone was long enough, and it wasn't, and i log back in and i have low bounty... i'd not want to play for the rest of the day................................................................... Same goes for running to the store or going out with the friends to the movies.

Can we get an outline of the project you are doing? I'd like to help with suggestions but I am sure you don't want a bunch of out-of-place random suggestions so..... If you could break the game down into sections it'd be helpful. Movement, Shooting, Toys, Enviornment Objects, etc...... Then if you had wanted it, you could receive specific ideas or suggestions to help you with creating the best game ever.

so safezones should have no timer. the idea i'd like to address is logging out and keeping bounty or not. (Pending if you close the client or not). The obvious thing is no as it'll be abused but yes for the people it'd help. Most kills are done with f3's, so people using safezones for a free high bounty warp away from danger should eventually lead to their downfall. This is even more the case as population eventually increases. So, I have yet to try it, but is it possible to log out in a safezone with say 300 bounty and log back in with 300? (Assuming you do not forget to set your ship or change it on the main menu?)?

just expand them to fit the pub (A1-T20) and it'll be a great map. put T20 (thx 1000) in the middle of spawn radius. the key factors is that it all flows and u can't really get too hung up. what did I do? the only thing I can think of is I said, "just trying to get out before... whoever it was" if you really think I am stupid enough to both cheat/abuse/ruin as well as admit it in the same minute... you are the stupid one. Hi, it's very time consuming to build a map. I was going to try to attempt to one but I came up with a lazier way! Have a "build a warzone base" contest. Everyone just builds one base and submits it. The best bases are put in. then Have a "build a warzone center" contest. Everyone builds a center and the best ones are used in combination with maps. TEAMWORK WHAT? -sath

Meaning what? You want to captain a draft squad, join a real squad, or are attempting to sign up as a "chaos zone newbie" into the draft pool? I can throw you in the draft pool but it won't be as a newbie, although with just NFS even posting here the total newbies in the pool is 1 so there probably won't be a newbie drafting round. o mb, i thought it was a complete draft.
