I'm pretty sure that if you change the dynamic of 4v4 to anything other than what it's been in the last decade or so, that the people that end up leaving would severely outweigh the minority that it would appease

Offensive repping takes more skill than what the majority of bad and mediocre players do, and that's spray and pray. If you want to follow this logic stream where offensive reps and PB thors take no skill, you might as well lobby for a function that requires you press ctrl each time you want to shoot a bullet as opposed to holding it down. By the time you're at the end of this slippery slope, you're stuck in a duelbox with no mines and toys, and instead of a 4v4 you're 1v1 1v1 1v1 1v1. The bottomline is if more people could PB thor win, and offensive rep effectively, they'd be doing it. When I see someone offensive rep effectively, more times than not, it is by a top tier player. I rarely see someone below this tier able to do it in a 4v4 match with positive results. Same thing with PB thors - I notice only exceptional players able to pull this off consistently. Once you've seen how either of these are done, and know how they're executed, they're easier to avoid. Taking these things out, just like Street said, just takes away more strategy from the game.

In my entire subspace career, I've still never used the ignore feature, and doubt I ever will. Maybe I'm lucky to be ADD and have selective hearing for idiots like dre and secede, but keep in mind even said idiots can provide fuel for flaming, which can be a goodtime for everyone in the arena who chooses to spectate or participate.. Get used to the trashtalking, a lot of it is in fun, keeps the game interesting, and keeps people on their toes. Don't be so sensitive. Problem solved.

Offensive repels still use repels, leaving you more vulnerable should you need one defensively down the line. You will see them rarely used in league as items are supposed to be used more efficiently and conservatively. PB thors do damage to the person using them, and all it takes is one bullet or shrap to backfire - or someone PB thoring you after you PB thored and failed. With both offensive reps and PB thors, the game is more dynamic, and IMO more fun. Don't fix things if they're not broken, just learn to adapt.

Most of my players are not going to be round the weekend after the 4th of July. I am moving into my new place ON the 4th of July and knowing how Comcast operates, I probably won't have internet then either, and if I do it will be off my laptop on a shitty verizon usb modem. When I talked to you last Sunday with Krilyu you seemed indifferent, and Krilyu was leaning towards a best of 1 anyways. Can we just get this season over with please? 3pm this Sunday and then we are done!

I miss zdx It's amazing people are still talking about him like he was around just yesterday. Just goes to show he at least left a mark... For Assassins' euros it would probably be best if we move the game from 4pm EST this Sunday to 3pm EST. Also, after talking it over with some of our players, and I think Krilyu would agree, we should only play one game - this Sunday (instead of the remaining possible 2 the following week).
