we thought that too. infantry/cosmic rift (SoE) was supposed to be just that and in a way it was. but the gameplay was clunky and crazy un-intuitive. most everyone who made the switch ultimately went back to ss. THIS EDITING SHIT SUCKS BALLS AND DOESN'T WORK CR was ok, but the movement always felt slightly off. Then the balancing against the multi-ships was never right, and then they said they would use different ship settings for different zones or whatever they were called. At that point I snapped and quit. Lack of consistant gameplay between zones is something that I have always hated, and still hate with SS. But atleast with SS you can easily avoid those zones, unlike CR where it got to the stage that it started to feel that it was forced onto you.
