Guys come on whats the point of fighting each other here? I sincerely thought this thread was to bring up player's thoughts on Hoch, at least that's how I heard from this thread while playing DSB public. Leave the fighting behind or the whole cause of this is going down the drain.

I am merely questioning the actions you took on the forums. I dont want this to get side tracked, I already agreed that your ban by Hoch was not justified in any possible way. I think the change starts from the owner of the zone - If he cant call the shots anymore, the staff below him will have more authority to judge things in fairer way. Also the owner is the one who permanently banned you from everything DSB has. The points sever raised towards league are valid. But I have seen that the decisions, the major one's such as what kind of game play or map would be used are not up to the people running the league. The main decisions always go through the owner. I point to my earlier post where I said that there are several puppets being controlled by one man.

I think you are wrong in accusing the staff on that forum ban. It seems to me that you really wanted to have your fun even you had your post deleted - perhaps for your own sake? On the other hand, the ban hoch made on you from the zone is completely wrong and unjustified. I have heard your ban might not be the first wrong ban in the history of DSB. I hope it will be the last though - banning all the players, especially without having a reason is bad in every possible way.

I do not know Beer's intentions but what if you would have been declined, fired or banned regardless of your actions? You are showing an email of Hoch telling he will ban you. Perhaps Beer was merely saying what could happen and perhaps he was not the man who would have banned you? I do remember hearing from somebody on public that you were once fired from developement staff because Hoch ordered so, is this true? All I am trying to say is, perhaps Beer just laid out the cards on what will most likely happen, you will clash with Hoch and then you will be gone.

On some points of your text my fellow player - I agree. You have raised valid points concerning the control and dictatorship Hoch has over DSB. Over the years in DSB there has been a lot of cover ups on cases where Hoch has got rid of his fellow staff. Most of the times when this happens the staffer who left has "resigned" and if he has been found telling the truth, he has been banned from the zone immediately - At least this is how I have seen it between the lines, the resignations usually come out of nowhere without very logical reasons or timing. Usually Hoch is most interested to get rid of players and staffers who are suggesting improvements which are strongly against his own beliefs and agenda, I have chatted with some of the people before they have resigned and their intentions have been good and their goals far in the future, its highly questionable how they would predict or plan the future if they are resigning. Hoch means well but his methods to manage the zone are from the past, I have heard that loops used to have same sort of management as Hoch does, I wasn't around during that time so I can't be sure. Hoch hardly has allowed the zone to see what his plans are or what his staff is planning, at least this is how I have seen it after the map decision came out of nowhere, we were lied that it was a theme weekend for months. It is very unlikely that anybody knows about the plans until they are finished and ready to go. This usually causes a lot of fights between the staff and players because players hardly agree that the staff, or should I say hoch, should be the only one to decide which course DSB is to take. The zone belongs to the players who should have bigger say on which road the zone will be taken. So far these requests to listen to the players have been ignored and cover up stories have been made if necessary to make players believe they will be heard. Hoch has a general vision on what DSB thinks. However you may find this pretty funny considering the man does not play the zone. He visits the zone once a week, sometimes his absence is even longer. All the key decisions or functions usually run through him, he hardly lets anybody else take any major role in decisions. Hoch usually uses most of his staff as puppets who need to work under his rules and beliefs, failure to comply will lead to your resignation or a fair warning at least. Hoch is always right is one of the very familiar phrases in DSB. If Hoch states something, he will not agree he has mistaken, even if it has been proven to him by the players as well as his fellow staff. Considering the league I could reflect on the things I said earlier in this post. Everybody are merely a puppets of Hoch, they hardly have any power of their own when it comes to key decisions surrounding issues of DSB, at least that is the image I have gotten after chatting with the staff members. If I have suggested something, it usually means I will be on Hoch's shitlist soon when Hoch hears how much against his beliefs the suggestion was. The person who takes the suggestion usually agrees it could be okay but hardly says there will be any action taken. I think this shows how much Hoch controls everything. I doubt that anybody from DSB staff would be as evil as Hoch is, at least on my personal opinion I see all the clues pointing at the zone owner. The communication between staff and the community seems to be blocked by Hoch's beliefs. I have not had very many discussions with Hoch but based on the discussions and reactions I have gotten after suggesting more open community involvement has shown how badly things are. I agree with some of your points considering DSB and the staff. I have played roughly for 5 years so I do not know how things have been before Hoch but things need improvement or else DSB will die. I want to take a moment to question your motives and capability to be in zone staff. From my point of view, I have not been in direct contact with you but from the discussions I have seen you write on DSB Forums, I have noted that you usually provoke a lot of players to argue with you or with each other. I have seen you treating several op>'s in very bad manner as well, I do not know if you want to direct your hate towards Hoch but because you cannot, you aim for the closest people to Hoch, his staff. I do not know if a person who attacks and provokes players should be made staff. It is questionable will you be able to change your behavior completely and leave all the bad things behind you. Also if I have not mistaken the staff usually recruits players with good player management skills and players who are not involved in any sort of questionable activities? I think DSB has had pretty good recruiting methods, of course some of the recruiting decisions have probably been influenced by the owner of the zone. Even though DSB is going through some tough times, if proper changes are done, with or without Hoch, we can reach better zone which will be liked by the players as well. I as a player love to play leagues so I am really looking forward to the next league. It has been under development for long time which has caused us to lose players but I doubt it is the fault of the people actually developing it. I will keep playing DSB till the very end, I hope things would change so all of us, the players could keep having our daily dosage of the fun DSB gives to us. The public has been very empty lately and my daily fun in the public has decreased because of this but lately there has been more players since they have changed the map back to the old one.
