Before I continue, let me mention that I am using the most recent version of macports, wine, and continuum (downloaded last night), and I am trying to get this working on 10.5.8. I have updated from XCode 3.0 to 3.1.4. CLARIFICATION: I DO NOT HAVE 10.6, I HAVE 10.5.8. I have tried redoing a few things, and I've tried all of the following: $ ./configure $ ./configure --disable-win16 $ ./configure --without-freetype $ ./configure --disable-win16 --without-freetype All of which seem to produce nearly identical results. So does anybody have any ideas? I'm over my head here. I know how to navigate the filesystem and do some basic things in the Terminal, but I'm no programmer. I'm planning on eventually upgrading to 10.6, but I want to do a clean install, and for that I require a new hard drive for my laptop. Once I have money for that, this whole thing will be a moot point, but I have no idea how long I'll have to wait before that happens. Thank you.
