League is absolutely active but essentially only during daytime hours in the Americas, Judging by the time you made that post, you missed activity (pracs) by about 4 hours. Activity would start again around 6 to 7 hours after the time you posted (3 to 4 hours from the time I am posting). There are exceptions, a few days ago 6 or 7 ppl were attempting to get a prac off the ground at around this time of day, but is was pretty optimistic! Quite infuriating as the multiple-user setup of Windows is ridiculously user-hostile and - as far as I know - never ever been utilised to a positive end by anyone on the face of the Earth, I hope you can have success finding the mysterious brigadoon that is a 4v4 game. League is indeed still operating (between seasons right now) and could always do with more folks participating, not to mention Chaos pub is in need of some pilots, and an attempt is being made to revive a powerball league. - Nude

Yep the number of people reporting Chaos as not connectable, that I'm giving IP: 66.36.247.83 to is growing daily. Been telling them to use the Custom dialog, and that seems to work.

I guess its true, I was so used to alt-tab always bringing up SS chat regardless of what you tabbed to, that now I'm cranky that it doesn't do it!

Not me, I seem to be fine. But I am being contacted by multiple people who can't log in anymore. Firstly, I'm horrible at computers and the interwebs. No idea at all. Used to know a little around 2001, 2002 ... its long left me behind since. Proxies and servers and so forth are all alien language. So me being their tech helpdesk is a fast track to disaster. But I've suggested reinstall (using various host sites for the reinstall package), with no luck. Then I've given them the dir list that works for me, no luck. I've even given them the address port info my zone connect is using for a custom connect, no luck. Adding this on top of issues with Chrome thinking everything is a goddamn virus, recent fuzmungle and server changes, and most importantly the slow leach loss of player base SS already suffers and its need to at least allow the crusty stay-on-er's to ... stay on, can we not create a one-stop-shop procedure for getting SS underway - a document/thread/whatever that step-by-steps people through and allows them to navigate the current obstacles that are frustrating so many? What IS the best download address? Can the package be rebundled with the new server locs? When problem {insert problem here} occurs, what is to be done/tried. Is there anything under way to handle this? If its already done, where do I find it? So frustrating telling people "Well, shit, if that didn't work, then I dunno. Please stay in touch." - Nude

I find that the text fonts via resizer are "wonky" but far from terrible. Chat and kill/death messages are still totally readable for me. Of course the text inside the game is different - eg the text in the 4v4 arenas' statboxes is too small to read but a physically small monitor is more the problem there. One thing that gets a little frustrating is: when alt-tabbing to access the chat screen, the alt-tab list of open apps tends to give a false order position for that screen. I'll Alt-tab-tab-tab-tab to the chat screen and let go, and it won't be on that chat screen at all. I'll alt-tab again and it's spot on the pecking order will have changed. Not sure what's at fault there but it only happens with resizer. Pretty small-fry compared to other issues, given. Still a godsend overall, though!
