2 thoughts 1. The random damage kills me a ton but i still like it. I really like the random shrap as well. The zone is called chaos after all. I would like a good newbie help file explaining random damage. 2. People have played so many years with the current settings i would love to see some good documentation explaining all of the differences between the 2011 and SVS 98 settings. I know the "pro" players know it all, however there is a ton that i don't know. For example playing Saturday i noticed that the reps were stronger. It would be nice to see the 2011 settings the reps were 950, and the svs98 settings the reps are 1200 and then explaining that the svs reps are 22% stronger.

I LOVED the settings over the weekend and i died a ton so people were happy and cheering. i liked going to a private freq, and grabbing two gunners and then fighting big 6 man freqs. at times over the weekend it was a 6 man turret vs a 6 man swarm. good times. Another thought on freq size. For years building a squad has been a pain for the reason that you could only ever get 2-4 squad members ever on one team. freq limits are typically 2-4. With the classic settings a squad could be built really fast because everyone (or most members) from the squad could get on the same freq. i agree with Jen that the lance needs 2 bounces to be worth playing. More greens would be nice. It does take a long time to green before you can play.

I just logged into the zone and wow the Mines are now 2 minutes. What a shocker the News file didn't let people know that the Mine Time changed....

Ya and the zone population once again will probably be cut down by 1/3 as well as Hallu continues to mess with the settings to satisfy cry baby hunters who find it hard to kill a turret. I'm guessing that all of Hallu's changes wont help the population. I'm guessing that turrets will just Ship change in open space since when the hunters come after them because they are mad that they are not allowed to Spend hard earned bonus points when they need them. Hmmmm I wonder which Option will make the hunters more Mad? Option A: turret runs away with bonus points, 1 hour later hunter gets to kill turret with 4,000 bounty Option B: every 1/2 hour the turret when out of toys or under pressure ship changes in open space so Hunters Never get a big bounty kill. Building macro to Esq Q and Ship change right now baby......

I'm guessing if hallu cut the EMP bomb damage in 1/2 or if he didn't allow Hunters to use rockets you would have people on the form complaining because it hurts there play style...... thats all i'm doing. Parts of the game that i use are being messed with. You don't have to have an IQ of 200 to see why i and other people who LIKE mines and who like to use bonus points would be unhappy with the recent changes.

The in game bot said "NO bonuses next reset." i dont see how you could earn bonus points if there are no bonuses. i think your link is broken. i clicked on it and it didn't show an image. i get a webpage that says "Want to start a website? Let us help!" I don't know, why don't you play for fun? You rarely ever play. I think you got 50 kills last year? I guess your not having fun.

How is a hunter gunning a newbie down 50-1 any different then me mine reping them. o ya i remember. A hunter will yell and scream in pub chat that the newbie is a %$@$# looser and should go kill them self. Some times i actually let a newbie gun an me and he gets a rush of getting a few kills. I don't see hunters being some kind generous group helping out newbies so get off your high horse. That's why i suggested building 20-30 dumb bots for the newbies to have something to shoot at. If i let the newbie kill me Hallu will accuse me of gifting and BAN me and remove the 2,000 bounty kill from the newbies record. Then the newbie would be REALLY confused.

ok it is worth playing for people who don't care about bonus points. For "some" people who do care about bonus points its not worth it.
