If you find something silly like having the same time slot "too many" times in a row, or just in general .. umm.. leave a suggestion on which matches to change to fix it for your squad and not break it for another. Good to see it was just CM doing #just3things. Regardless, we'll still only have scheduled pracs aka pre-season today. I'll randomize a brand new bracket for 14 squads next week and post the schedule before Sunday I'll use BYE Round for squad #14.

Yep, it's still a bad option IMO, like mentioned in the original. But I'm leaning towards something like that. So basically we schedule the above round with squads required to show up (mostly CM and beastfu though). Everyone else already showed up twice, or once. This should result in something between 12 and 14 squads. In the case of 13 squads, I think some people were discussing attempting to fill the void with a new one. As long as that squad is formed before the hard lock it should be fine. We'll just BYE the "top squads" first, seeing as how they would be more likely to cause a loss to a new squad anyway. Then there's the chance of starting with CM (13 squads), forming or not forming a 14th squad, then having CM dissolve a few rounds in.. which would also suck

Uhh hi. We're supposed to start the real actual season this weekend. We currently have (or do we) 14 squads. Critical Mass and beastfu are already looking more or less like they might not make it. This will suck a massive amount of dongers if/when I schedule for 14 and they then drop out. One squad out would mean one BYE. Two squads out would mean two byes. Or rescheduling for 12 teams, which is a hassle. If we axe 2 teams after one round, I think the math works out for scheduling for 12 and recreating round 1 from games that were played (force beastfu vs. CM round 1). Then move around some of the other games to keep the remaining rounds in the season somewhat uniform. When I did this, the recreated round 1 had 2 match-ups from round 10 and 2 from round 9, making those rounds look silly. Fixing the schedule for 12 teams after 2 rounds is pretty much impossible. But what we might be looking at for this Sunday (yes it was round 6 in the randomized schedule, which I also had randomize 3pms and 4pms. Too bad it didn't assign them 3/4 or 4/3. So I'll end up changing those up a bit. 6 Assassins - Slopships 4pm - 6 Starfire Elite - Llamas 3pm - 6 Outlaws - Backarrow 4pm - 6 Critical Mass - beastfu 3pm - 6 Symphony - WTF? 3pm - 6 Sterling - The Dark 4pm - 6 Cosmic Rift - Dropships 4pm - One (bad) option is of course to throw in another pre-season round but require squads to show up. Then schedule the above for real round 1. Then possibly remove CM and beastfu if they no-show twice in a row. I miss pyramid, it's so much more flexible

Yes. I know. People are pushing for the season start. But I'd rather take an extra week of pre-season and have none of the bots fail miserably. The plan for the season schedule is to still generate it in advance and possibly even toss in the times. Hohoho. Someone mentioned FR and Damage stats and playmaking all in one paragraph. Meanwhile a bomb that forces someone into a bad spot, which they realize soon enough, will deal no damage, force no repel, but still end up repelled away. Statistics are a pretty bad basis for anything in our game of pewpew. That's why I voted for SF for the game-making or whatever categories. Dev and Leg have it easy on their respective squads. Oh. And something like a repkill won't be tracked in stats. Unless maybe as a forced repel "against you" and not a wasted repel "for you". It won't even give you an assist, and no bot could ever realistically track that either.

Returning squads listed, Symphony added to rosters, Peeking Duck? granted captain on it (to add co-caps .editaccess playername:1 .. might work, if it doesn't, let me know). -- As for the holidays, someone needs to check the weekends the games land on for NA holidays. No euro knows if 'muricans are assumed to be away BBQing babies on columbus day or firing shotguns in the air on cinco de mayo. But yeah, remove euros and you end up with RSHL. "Quick game, ADM only showing 4 at 10PM est timeslot. Revo would play with 4 to make it even, but with the rules, still makes it a 2+ goal lead mercy. Revo would go up 3-1 to end this quick. Next game in this series is Next Sunday at 5pm." ADM is Admirals, all euros. 10 pm game is a tad much. Seems like they have 7 squads + Admirals. Used to have a lot more. But euros would no-show the 10pm slots, muricans would no show the 5pm slots. No one got to play. Good times. OH. A1 updated, but my archives didn't actually have full roster info (for either season). I guess copying the roster and not saving a .txt file before unlocking rosters isn't the best way to go about it. And the K/D score for regular season wins has not been adjusted to reflect any gains from dissolved squads. EDIT: If anyone feels artsy and wants to add borders and stuff to the A1 gfx, go for it. The boxes just need to be adjustible for more winners for seasons to come. I was going to throw in some SS logos and ship logos once, but then I was lured away by boobs.

The holiday thing is something we could in theory have a vote on. But then we might also want one for European holidays, and would of course use the decision from the 'murica holidays for that one as well. You're ... well, expected to attend real life duties before spaceships. And yes, we can have the entire schedule up before the season even starts. And yes, we can. I'll possibly maybe do it tomorrow. --- OH. If any of the returning squads feel like they need to change their council rep, inform hallucination?, pretty sure he can change the access rights on council forum.
