  1. We've been duped!
  2. It's friday morning in Estonia right now.
  3. This thread is the first time I've ever heard of him, but if everyone already knows he's a fool, I guess there's very little danger in the "message" he's trying to spread.
  4. Lone Outlaw, you're really living up to your name. You're actually saying (whether you realize it or not) that if one player is banned from all SSCU zones, that player is justified in "banning" every other player from every SSCU zone.
  5. To summarize your insane ramblings ^

  7. I can imagine it will die because I am already watching it die. Years ago we would never have imagined the lack of activity we see now. Chaos has 6 people total playing right now. Death Star Battle has 10. EG actually has about 35 playing, but their total population logged on right now is still about half of what it was 5 years ago. I didn't even bother checking Trench Wars since I'm sure they're doing fine. Whether your target audience is facebook users, casual web users or smartphone users, it would be nice to see this game transformed into something that will still be alive 10 years from now.
  8. I would estimate that over 90% of regular ss/cont players don't bother checking ssgn.net or these forums. If you're lucky, some of them will regularly check on the forums that are specific to their own zones (EG/TW/DSB,etc), but there is little reason for someone who only plays Trench Wars, for example, to read continuum-related forums other than on the TW website. The "Subspace Community" that we knew back in 96/97 was fragmented into multiple smaller communities, as you know, and the only ACTIVE players that frequent this website are generally from the smaller zones that don't have their own websites with separate forums. It's almost a certainty that if you play in _______ zone and are content with it, you don't care about other zones or what's happening in the so-called "subspace community."
  9. lol'd @ this He must be talking about its population over 10 years ago.
  10. Yes, Hoch is a useless failure and the current state of DSB is evidence of that. But it's hardly worth fussing this much over a zone that gets about 8-10 people playing (not including the afk speccers) during what should be prime-time subspace hours. Even Hyperspace has more active players than DSB these days.
  11. I was under the impression that the only reason to take several tiny zones and convert them into subarenas under one new zone would be so the total population would appear higher on the download list and then people might actually enter it (of course there are other ways to make population look higher, but this is a more honest method). Anyway, I think it's fair to say that MG is fucked regardless of whether it comes back as a zone or subarena.
  12. http://i.imgur.com/tWURI.jpg I made this last year. Feel free to use it.
  13. I would guess most players would have it organized by freq since the most populated zones generally require you to be attaching to your teammates often. You wouldn't want to have to be scrolling up and down looking for a teammate when every second matters.
  14. unfortunately that's not the way it works.
  15. nonsense. No kid that age would bother with this silly outdated game.
