Sorry, no I didnt mean it to sound like that. Just trying to list some things that might jog peoples memories I think I might still have the web files for the first convention. If I can dig it up I will try to put it up on the web somewhere so you can have a look see. I think there was a second convention the next year in Miami, but I didnt go to that one. Ill try some of the other forums as suggested, many thanks

I played as Warhammer in the original Beta and subsequent retail product. I created the squad Time Bandits, which eventually spawned Striker and then went on to create Gemini. Eventually I joined Reds as probably one of the least skilled pilots in there I attended the SubSpace convention in San Diego just after the retail launch. I worked on the first subspace fanzine co-producing a report of the first subspace convention. I was the first person to have a player made map put up on the official servers and then quickly brought down again when people found a mistake in it where flags could get trapped, ops. I helped form the Map Making Guild which was the first organisation in to making player made maps and publishing guides for others to do the same. Haven’t played in years, just thought I would look up if anyone even still plays this
