I was wondering, could someone just post simple, step by step way to download Wine and SS and have it working just fine?

you don't need to do any of that console stuff (referenced earlier) as you already have continuum installed and running, thats just to install it. Try changing it to 16bit or 24bit in the options menu (so it matches the bit-rate of your desktop) Well, if your talking about the Color Depth, I tried changing it to 16, and it's the same problem.

Hey, I downloaded wine and all of that stuff, and continuum plays, but it's really laggy like or choppy. How can I fix this? I went to Advanced Options and selected the bottom 5 choices, but it's still really laggy/Choppy. Whats I do?
