  1. Another thing is can we have some bombs that create random shrap instead of the typical star pattern. Maybe not in high density like a TacNuke w/Shrap Boost and Multiplier. But a falcon and cluster with random shrap patters. Btw, kid, are you having an argument with yourself? Noone said anything about cyclone and how they are in common.
  2. I had a change to play a lot of Hs the 3 weeks I was off work, and I feel that I have came up with 2 new items that could help the dynamic of Hs, and could bring back some forms of the game. Item One: QuickFire Mechanism: Bombs: Ships:12345678 Buy Price:15K (I Dont Know For Sure, just a guess price) Exp: (Something above Salvo) Bomblevel:1 Bombdelay:35 Bombenergy:10000 Maxmines:1 Minedelay:1000 Mineenergy:10000 This device nullifies the use of bombs in order to have the ability to quick fire items. Item Two: Turret Engine: Sublight (Signature): Ships: 7 Buy Price:55K Exp:5K+ Speed:+3 Maxspeed:+1 Thrust:+3 Maxthrust:+1 Rotation:+5 Energy:-2 Recharge:-2 Turretspeed:-350 Turretthrust:-3 (like inertial damper, - means more, however, i dont know if that is after 1 attaches or if it means per attachee) A signature sublight made for turreting, The engine works better as the load gets heavier.   5. Can I bring up Unixs idea again about customizing Point Defenses. Or even offering different styles of PDs. For example: A "Beam Array" PD or "Shredder" PD, etc, etc. Each could be priced differently, you get the idea..

  8. OK, How Does This Sound, Basing or Centering. Gun: Pulse Laser: 5K Lvl. 2 w/Bounce Like this over Phaser just due to the necessity of bounce. Bomb: Salvo: 11K Rapid Fire L1 Bombs Not many other choices. Reactor: Resonace Sphere: 18K Energy +8, Recharge +1, Speed -2, Maxspeed -1, Thrust -2, Maxthrust -1, Rotation -3 Energy, Energy, Energy Sublight: Ion Drive: 8K Speed +4, Thrust +3, Rotation +3 Really never had tried a different one, would say Carnot or Overthruster be better here??   11. New people take time to get used to the game, noone is giving them a chance. They have to make money to get that ship that can work. If it did increase much faster, people will just win flag games more often in the fear of: crashes/losing base (and flags)/watching another team win. Crashes for the most part appear to be fixed, they dont happen as often as they do anymore, besides, if we had flags ready to base, why would someone purposly dump them?(I will not use names, but this person is a vet) And as far a losing a base, isnt that part of the game, the spirit of it? You defent that base for all its worth, and one little slip or close thor, and the base and flags are gone. What is the first thing you want to do, quit? No, get back there at get that sucker back. Basing dosent work when you have 2 pub freqs and 8 or 9 vets on one side and 1 or 2 on the other. Maybe there should be a way to maybe even the exp of the players amongst the freqs??
  12. Maybe if there was some kind of incentive for basing. I'm not talking about jacking the jackpot up to ungodly amount like I have heard of before in the past, but I strongly feel that this should be looked into. Its looking into preserving the integrity of the game for new players.
  13. But I thought Hyperspace was a flag basing game?? Sure its ok to center and such, but if this zone is going to was any new players(such as myself, reading some of these posts, I guess the old set of weapons was much better than these) to try out this zone, I FEEL that they need to be given a fair chance to progress. And I FEEL the best way to do that is the basing game. Some vets, older players, whatever you want to call yourself, need to put their own personal ajenda aside for the good of the zone.
  14. Something that I noticed(and im sure everyone has) that one of the best way to make money is through basing, both attacking and defending. But it seems like a lot of players only like to base when the jackpot is high. Recalling a moment the other night, the pub freq had all the flags, just to have that player newt them in the hypertunnel. Instead of basing and making some money and exp, that person just gave the flags away, just because the jackpot has not gotten high enough. New players have no chance to make money centering, and basing is the way to go. In order to get newer players into the zone, basing should be the way to go.
