@Mr. B-hole: the forcecap command is only used in 4v4squad# arenas, if you have 4 players willing to play go to a 4v4prac# arena and start a practice, it's not THAT difficult to get 4 players to play against you these days... I agree that when people forcecap to their friends when it's not squad vs squad it should be bannable. There are two solutions I can see to fix this: 1. Create an IF statement for the bot at the squad arenas, if it's not squad vs squad (that check already exists in the bot's coding) don't allow the use of !forcecap. 2. Add more admins to be available to force this, if someone is using forcecap so a friend can play he should be banned.

It's probably a connection timeout or some other db related issue Caer, seems like handling errors is incomplete or incorrect.

Nobody is stopping squads from creating cadet squads...

I'm going to India for 3 months on June 19th. So, if there is any squad in dire need of players I will be happy to help out for the next month!

I was looking for recruits for the past few weeks but everywhere you go everyone seems to have a squad these days. Unfortunately, during that time none of our rostered members was online even once when I am around at least and never to matches. If I saw any other way I would take it but it seems that this is a classic case of a squad that seems solid at the beginning but headed for a huge crash due to inactivity. Currently the only members that are active, still never practice together are: Ninespike THC Tweeg and myself, you cannot run a league squad with 4 members where there's a cycle of 1 of us whom cannot show up for a match. If we somehow can get an influx to double our roster size I'd feel fine with staying in the competition but otherwise it's better to kill it right now.

Yeah, your explanation can only fit Micloren's 2nd example, to be honest, ever since I started playing Chaos this never happened to me nor to anyone I know, this is actually the first time I hear a person, in this game, in the past 14 years that I'm playing that gets killed about 5sec after he was gundueling. If that really happens often in Chaos there is probably something wrong with the bot coding then, following your explanation and it should be checked. I took your advice to mind and I hope I won't have this approach anymore, thanks for that.

Hello, Unfortunately we lost a lot of players, we're down to 3-5 at the moment including me, we cannot play leauge this way. So I would like to announce the removal of Port Llast from league due to inactivity. Port Llast still has non-league members so we'll stick around. @Bargeld: You're wrong, this has absolutely nothing to do with the bot, all it does is record a death of a player since match began. It's a game bug which we can do absolutely nothing about.

So basically you're saying there are Masters of Chaos (football) and powerball? Frankly, throughout the time I played Chaos zone I never even once saw Elim, dueling tourney or powerball ever hosted... I'd first put up an ?go elim arena and stick a permanent elim bot there, there are plenty running around with barely any need for coding. Since DSB is dead I don't see a reason why we can ask their sysop for help with the elim bot if you need it. Few other events from DSB are: (If you want to see the maps for any of the levels I added a file name for them, just login to DSB and ?go lvlname) Bloodlust: The more you kill the stronger your ship becomes (bloodlust.lvl) Dodgeball (dodgeball.lvl) Zombies (zombie.lvl) Flag race (flagrace.lvl) Flag War (fw.lvl) Multi Squad Duel (msd.lvl) Pulse (pulse.lvl) Team Elim: regular elim but with teams of 2 (teamelim.lvl) There are quite a few others, I got tired of going through my map list In any case, there are so many events we can host which would be great for the zone in my opinion, 4v4 can really suck with kids going 0-3 in the first couple of minutes, I went 0-8 W/L because of those bad teammates.
