I'm too busy to do things that need to be done to keep SSCC Halo alive... There are lots of people who want it to thrive... Those that can do what I can't... Those with connections I don't have... I had gotten a message, I guess, before the biller had their unfortunate problems and now it won't remove.. Every morning when I get on and check my messages, I have the same message from May thats been checked many times.. Is there a command or a specific way I can get this message to be removed? First time this has happened to me... lol

I checked it out.. Played around with the setting a little... When I turned friendly transfer off, as soon as my teammate carrying all 20 flags got hit by a team player it quickwon... So I guess that snawers my question..

I'm curious.. In my settings, I can set it to where they can transfer flags between teammates... This is interesting to me.. How do they do that? Is it really a transfer, or is that when they kill a teammate they get the flags? If it is a transfer, how do they do it, I've had several ask me.. Thanks..

I've seen where a lot of people have been having problems with Vista and SSC.. I just wanted to add that when I got my new computer and found out it had Vista on it, I was not happy.. When I went to load SSC, I was surprised to find I couldn't enter any zones either because it couldn't create that file.. I found out that I didn't have permission, if you will, to write to the hard disk.. But I discovered, that if you open My Computer, And right click on C:.. Then click on Properties and go to your Security tab.. As long as you have admin on your computer, set Authenticated Users to be able to write, I set mine to Full cause I'm the only one who uses it, and click Apply.. Then try going into your Zone.. This has fixed every persons unable to create problem that I've come across... Reading that he just re-downloaded the client to get it to work, was also helpful.. Just thought I'd add this to help others who have been on XP an now have Vista and it won't work.. <_< Hope this helps those who couldn't fix it with a new client download..

Wow.. How old are you guys... Flooding and stuff has been around for forever... Flooding a connection is not hard... And as for the last post where he was laughing at me, I'm sure he was, we're cool... I don't care about that.. I asked if there was a way to trace it.. Lemme put it this way... I was at over 500 ping for a sustained amount of time... It wasn't a "spike"... When he said he turned it off, my ping dropped steadily back to my 60ms.. Leads me to believe he either was doing what he said, or he's a huge psychic, cause he wasn't sitting here... If you care to add more please do, but don't be noob... If you don't have the info I need, find a rock to crawl under an shhhhhhh..... Useless posts aren't helpful...

I'm on a 15 mbps connection, first off, so I don't lag.. Here recently in a zone I play in, my lag went from my normal 60ms to over 500ms getting me specced in the zone I play in. One of the ppl in there said he was doing it intentionally. Now I have two questions, 1 Is that legal and 2 how is he doing it so I can make it stop. It gets real annoying at times when I'm playing and because I kill someone a few times more than they like, they can purposely make me lag and knock me out. Id appreciate some answers. Also, how do I scan or tracroute it back to its origin.. Id like to be able to tell in the future who it is. I'm pretty sure they're not always gonna admit it, but if they can use it in our pub arena they can use it to alter or control events and stuff in any zone.
