Mike, its time to get others involved in this topic, it is a DOS attack, and its not stopping, they are pranksters trying to see what they can get by with. They flooded animate's chat again today.. sample is provided below.. this is after u net banned xterr and jds, but as you know xterr still has access, and i am !@#$%^&*uming he is still one of the suspects. I not picking on x'terr, but he is showing a flaw in the system that should be dealt with as well, what good is a net ban when its not effective over the entire system? There is more than one issue at play here, I say deal with all of them. PS, It seems that someone that has access to other logs that would link nicks to IP addresses and/or other alieses would be required here. There is more than one person doing these DOS attacks, all need to be banned. And since x'terr disputes the way you fingered him, maybe you could get ahold of logs that would link the attacks to who did them a little better, that way, the bans woudn't be in doubt.
