I'm exxxxxxxtremely picky about my desktop background... in fact, I usually make my own. And I never use a game/brand/logo background... just personal preference *g* so even though I wouldn't actually use any of these as a desktop background, #2 gets my vote because even if they didnt do the ships, I still ooh and ahh at the details.
