If there was defintely a flag game at the of a hosted arena event, I would consider it, so yes. But its a guarantee. After many arena events are over many players spec or just quit, am I right?

Why not just have a basic warbird or jav with a decent beginner setup for those and let them still earn money and exp the normal way. No need to trade-in or rent-to-own, just put all the newbie items on the two ships from the start (more than the basic set-up available now) and newcomers and vets who haven't played for a while can still have fun. It you make it easier for someone to start out, they are more likely to stay and test the zone out.

I agree with Unix that seeing a large number of players currently in the zone does tempt others to see what is going on, but for me, when something is being hosted in a different arena, I leave. When I come to hyperspace I want to center or flag and that's it. In my opinion boosting jp's is a nice way to get a flag game going. Also during one flag game recently there was a bonus for the first lanc for each team, which was nice. I will usually lanc if needed but it gets boring after a while, so the bonus was a good reason to do so

The other way is for you to give the money back. Plain and simple but you don't have the money anymore so why don't you get it back from ones who you gave it to? If you yourself thinks that what you did was morally wrong, why did you do it? There wasn't anything wrong until you decided to exploit the bot, so stop whining about getting your money removed, you brought it on yourself.

I understand the difference between real life and games, you missed the point of my reply. Unix used the analogy of taking money from a non-FDIC backed institution and said it is legal to do if you do it in a round-about way, which clearly it is not. But no matter what it was wrong. In regards to a donation, how is it a donation made to Unix when someone had to do it for him/her in order for the donation to be given by the bot? Unix knew or had a hunch that the bot could be tricked and needed help to do it. So Unix's intent was to take something that clearly did not belong to Unix, and then got rid of the money because Unix knew it was wrong. If it was just a way to have fun then the money should have been given back, no questions asked. As far as spidernl wanting the money back, I agree. It should not have been taken in the first place and the person who took it should be punished, game or not.

Unix, if you took money from a non-insured financial institution because they had a hole in accounting, you would still be arrested. Taking that which does not belong to you is illegal no matter which way you look at it. Instead of a felony charge of Crimes against a federally chartered or insured institution it would be Theft or Obtaining property by false pretense. Either way still a felony due to the amount involved. You had the intent to take the money, you actually took the money, you laundered the money, and now you complain about being punished for it. I like the new bases because it gave something new to the zone. For those who say they suck in other words, at least they were changed. I agree there are some areas which are hard to defend and there are areas which are hard to maneuver, but since I lack the skills to help change things in the zone, I like them. I would like the jumpgates to be closer to the center safe, it would help when I am trying to lanc and get to a base but I get trolled on the way there..

This is my spider build and I am always looking for new ideas to make it better so please share your own build or ways to improve. I am still new to Hyperspace (again) so any help is appreciated. Spider ZPM Carnot engine Pulse Laser Parallel relay Deflector shield Space mines Speed mount Defense mount Parasite AW I think that does it, when more money comes available AD will be added.

I am not new to this zone but I am new to all of the changes that have been made since I lasted played here. I have only been in on a few flag games where the teams were basing and I can't even do anything to help. When I used to play in this zone, it took a while to get a well-balanced basing ship but now it almost impossible with the new changes. Granted I haven't played for awhile, but when I used to play I would have already had a nice Jav as well as a Spider and possibly a Lance or Weasel, but right now all I have is a crappy Jav, lol. While this zone is still fun cause it is so different than the other zones, basing for me as well as other "newbs" is almost impossible and to be up against a freq of pros nullifies all of the fun that basing should be. Hopefully after three months of playing I can actually help in a flag game.
